Two great screening events took place last week in Los Angeles: the first at the University of Southern California, where my doc subject Bart Campolo served as the first Humanist Chaplain for 3 years, and the second at Laemmle’s Music Hall in Beverly Hills.
Again, both weeknights, and yet both theaters were almost full! And the reviews were incredible. People really respond to this film, which continues to make me really happy.
Bart was in attendance at both screenings, and took questions after both, the first with Jim Burklo of the Office of Religious Life at USC, and the second with me. The hands were shooting up with lots of questions and 30 minutes was only time for a portion of the questions people actually had.
I continue to get lots of questions about how people can see the film, and if you haven’t been able to attend any of the public screenings which have been scheduled through our screening partner Tugg, there’s good news: streaming options are coming really soon! I’ll update this site as soon as that’s a thing, and if you’re on the mailing list, you’ll get an update in your inbox.
Thanks for all the great feedback; update to follow!
